Praise the Lord My house CLOSED Late Friday

Thanks again for all those who lended me advice, prayers and support. The day I heard it closed was the happiest of my life in the last few years. Truly I’m not kidding on that. I feel like I’m in seventh heaven. 👍:D;)
 
congratulations. I know it has been a difficult time for you with that house. Glad it is off your plate.

Closed means. It was put up for sale and offer was made and accepted and the final part is closing the deal with a title company. In the USA at least in my area when the house closes with the title company that’s with when everything is finalized and money is tranfered to seller and the closing date is the official date the buyer takes ownership. Before that it’s in a process of negotiation and title searches and inspections are done and repairs are made it tipically takes about 30 day. Mine got delayed because the title company didn’t get the required verification of employment from the buyer in time and they had to wait a few days to get that in hand before they could close.
