Let’s pray for all 1.2 billion baptized Catholics in the world.
Let’s pray that they all grow in faith, love and holiness.
Let’s pray that they develop/maintain a deep, personal relationship with our Lord and His Church.
Let’s pray that they believe in the doctrines/dogmas defined by the Church and that they remain obedient to the disciplines set by the Church, accepting of all the teachings of the Church, and faithful to the commandments of our Lord.
Let’s pray that all live as good witnesses of the Church and Gospel.
Let’s pray for all active, practicing, devout, observant, and/or faithful Catholics.
Let’s pray for all lapsed, non-practicing, cafeteria, lukewarm, “recovering”, cultural, nominal and/or inactive Catholics.
Let’s pray for all Catholic organizations, associations, and institutions to remain faithful to the Magisterium.
Let’s pray for Catholics not in communion with Rome, particularly members of the SSPV, SSPX, sedevacantists, Old Catholics, Independent Catholic, and breakaway Catholic groups.
Let’s pray for all members of “Catholics for Choice” and similar organizations.
Let’s pray for all the mission territories, apostolic prefectures, apostolic vicariates, personal prelatures/ordinariates, dioceses, and archdioceses of the Church.
Let’s pray for all missionaries, catechists, evangelists, Religious Education teachers, and theologians of the Church.
Let’s pray for all the clergy and laity, as well as those in religious orders.
Let’s pray for those who identify as Anglo-Catholic to attain communion with Rome.
Let’s pray for every baptized Catholic to know his/her faith really well and to be properly catechized and formed in faith.
Let’s pray for no more scandals in the Church
The Church is rapidly losing members in some parts of the Americas and Europe in favor of Protestantism (mainly Evangelical, Pentecostal, and Charismatic) and secularization. The Church is also growing quickly in some parts of Asia and Africa, though it remains a minority religion as a whole. Let us pray for many conversions and reversions.
Let’s pray for unity!
May we all be enriched with greater fervor and zeal for loving, serving and knowing God and His Church.
May the all the non-Catholics join us!
May the entire world joyfully proclaim, “We faithfully believe in what the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church founded by Jesus Christ teaches!”
