Pray for all affected by BIG Northeastern snowstorm

It is snowing something wicked, and we have had over 2 hours of ice rain here in Upstate NY.
A goodly portion of the state (20 counties thus reporting in) are having what amounts to a blizzard in all but name.
Please pray that we keep our power on, and that those who are out on the roads, be protected from accidents.

Thank you all so much.
 
Heavenly Father, we ask for your mantle of protection as a big snowstorm affects upstate NY. May those people who are homeless and out in the streets in this bad weather find shelter and be provided with supplies to keep them warm and safe from the cold weather.

We thank you for people who are good Samaritans and ask You to bless them.

All these we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Praying for everyone touched by the storm.

BTW, DH just finished shovelling us out - he said there is a good 2 feet of snow out there (including the foot or so we got earlier this week) :eek:
 
I am in the same boat as Zooey! :eek: Although I live on the other side of the border…no mass for me today!:crying:

Praying for everyone to be safe during these storms…and that heat, electricity, etc will be restored to those who are going without it, due to the bad weather. My prayers are with you! Not too long ago, I remember this…we moved from PA…and the storms were tough at times. Please be safe, everyone. Don’t drive if you don’t absolutely have to.
