St. Joseph,
who felt the tribulation and worry of a parent
when the child Jesus was lost,
protect our dear children for time and eternity.
May you be their father and counselor.
let them, like Jesus,
grow in age as well as in wisdom
and grace before God and men.
Preserve them from the corruption of this world,
and give us the grace one day
to be united with them in heaven forever.
Amen.
 
Hail Mary…

Lord Jesus, You asked your apostles to let the little children come to You and You laid Your hands on them and blessed them. We ask You now to take all children into Your care and to grant them Your grace and blessings.

Time and circumstances have contributed to forming the children of today’s world, and some of that formation has not been good. People, too, have influenced the children and we ask now that only the good influences may prevail.

Help us to help all children. Help us to find the proper things to do to change their lives for the better. Help us to be trustworthy friends and good examples for the children, so they may grow in wisdom and grace.

Grant that those people and events that have led them away from a good Christian life may no longer have any influence. Let all children, especially our own children and those who have touched our lives come to You. Amen
 
O Heavenly Father, I commend all children to Thy care. Be Thou their God and Father; and mercifully supply whatever is lacking in our community through frailty or negligence. Strengthen them to overcome the corruptions of the world, whether from within or without; and deliver them from the secret snares of the enemy. Pour Thy grace into their hearts, and strengthen and multiply in them the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit, that they may daily grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; and so, faithfully serving Thee here, may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter. Amen.

God the Father, we thank You for Your gift of love and of life. We thank You for the gift of our children. We ask You to send Your holy angels to protect and guide them each day so that they will walk the narrow path of purity, self control and obedience as was taught to us by Jesus Christ. We ask this through Christ our Lord, in Union with the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Prayer for Children to Our Lady of Divine Providence

O Lady of Providence, my mother, to you I confide the children God has entrusted to us. Keep them safe in body and soul. When the responsibilities and trials of life come to them, continue to be their provident mother. Above all, O Mary, be with all children at the hour of death and lead them into eternity, so that with you, they may praise forever the Creator, the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
