Saint Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.
 
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You asked your apostles to let the little children come to You and You laid Your hands on them and blessed them. We ask You now to take all children into Your care and to grant them Your grace and blessings.

Time and circumstances have contributed to forming the children of today’s world, and some of that formation has not been good. People, too, have influenced the children and we ask now that only the good influences may prevail.

Help us to help all children. Help us to find the proper things to do to change their lives for the better. Help us to be trustworthy friends and good examples for the children, so they may grow in wisdom and grace.

Grant that those people and events that have led them away from a good Christian life may no longer have any influence. Let all children, especially our own children and those who have touched our lives come to You. Amen

Pour Thy grace into their hearts, and strengthen and multiply in them the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit, that they may daily grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; and so, faithfully serving Thee here, may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter. We want to turn away, but you call us back.
We want simple solutions,
But you want us to help solve the complex problems.
Through your church, you call us to listen, to learn, to reflect and to act.
Give us a deep sense of our place in this web of Creation.
Give us the wisdom of mind and generosity of heart
To seek your will in the world today.
Inspire us to respond to the call of your servant, Pope John Paul II,
As he calls us to solidarity with impoverished countries of the world,
So that all children of God might live in dignity and peace.

Prayer for Children to Our Lady of Divine Providence

O Lady of Providence, my mother, to you I confide the children God has entrusted to us. Keep them safe in body and soul. When the responsibilities and trials of life come to them, continue to be their provident mother. Above all, O Mary, be with all children at the hour of death and lead them into eternity, so that with you, they may praise forever the Creator, the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
