Pray for all Children

O Lord Jesus Christ, Who said to Your Apostles: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you,” regard not our sins but the faith of Your Church, and deign to give her peace and unity according to Your Will: Who live and reign, God, world without end. Amen.
 
Hail Mary…

Lord Jesus, You asked your apostles to let the little children come to You and You laid Your hands on them and blessed them. We ask You now to take all children into Your care and to grant them Your grace and blessings.

Time and circumstances have contributed to forming the children of today’s world, and some of that formation has not been good. People, too, have influenced the children and we ask now that only the good influences may prevail.

Help us to help all children. Help us to find the proper things to do to change their lives for the better. Help us to be trustworthy friends and good examples for the children, so they may grow in wisdom and grace.

Grant that those people and events that have led them away from a good Christian life may no longer have any influence. Let all children, especially our own children and those who have touched our lives come to You. Amen

who are abused or neglected,
that we might work to save them;
We pray to the Lord

For children who are unwanted by their parents,
that God’s grace might send others to love
and care for them;
We pray to the Lord

For the children of our country,
especially those who are forgotten or neglected,
that their presence might remind us
of the infinite value of human life;
We pray to the Lord

For every little child:
That we might accept and preserve each one
as a sign of the infinite love of God for us;
We pray to the Lord

For all unborn children:
that our love for them may keep them safe
until the joyous day of their birth;
We pray to the Lord

That the Lord,
who rescues the life of the poor
from the power of the wicked,
might send an angel to guard and protect
all unborn children;
We pray to the Lord

For every little child
and especially for those who
live in their mother’s womb,
that they might grow
in the image and likeness of
the God who made them;
We pray to the Lord

For the littlest child in her mother’s womb,
that in her life we may see the infinite love of God;
We pray to the Lord

That through the intercession of Saint Vincent,
who spilled his blood for the defense of the Gospel,
the lives of unborn children may be spared;
We pray to the Lord

For all children who have died from abortion,
that God might cradle them in his arms
and grant them eternal peace with him;
We pray to the Lord

For every child who lives in the womb,
that God might send an angel to guard and protect
the innocent and defenseless;
We pray to the Lord

For all unborn children,
and especially for the babies of unmarried mothers,
that God might send an angel to protect them:
We pray to the Lord

For the children who have died from abortion in our nation,
and for their mothers and fathers,
for mercy, peace and the loving embrace of Christ:
We pray to the Lord

For little children
who await the birth of a brother or sister:
that they may learn to cherish
the child in her mother’s womb;
We pray to the Lord

Prayers for Our Children

SALVATION. “Lord, let salvation spring up within my children, that they may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory” (Isaiah 45:8, Timothy 2:10).

GROWTH IN GRACE. “I pray that my children may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

LOVE. “Grant, Lord, that my children may learn to live a life of love, through the Spirit who dwells in them” (Galations 5:25, Ephesians 5:2).

HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. “May integrity and honesty be their virtue and their protection” (Psalm 25:21).

SELF-CONTROL. “Father, help my children not to be like many others around them, but let them be alert and self-controlled in all they do” (1 Thessalonians 5:6).

LOVE FOR GOD’S WORD. “May my children grow to find Your Word more precious than much pure gold and sweeter than honey from the comb” (Psalm 19:10)

JUSTICE. “God, help my children to love justice as You do and act justly in all they do” (Psalm 11:7, Micah 6:8).

MERCY. “May my children always be merciful, just as their Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36).

RESPECT. (for self, others, authority). “Father, grant that my children may show proper respect to everyone, as Your Word commands” (1 Peter 2:17).

BIBLICAL SELF-ESTEEM. “Help my children develop a strong self-esteem that is rooted in the realisation that they are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:10).

Salvation: Pray that all children will hear the gospel, understand it and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 5:17, 21).

Trust: I Pray that all children will learn to trust God every day in every situation and become a strong believer.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5,6).
