Pray for any and all who may have caused you to stumble

Anyone who has ever disillusioned you in your faith:
Pray and beg God not to hold it against them. No matter what they did. Pray God have mercy on them.
 
I love this

The thought of the merciful being shown mercy has always been a comforting thought to me

So everytime someone wrongs me I’m sympathetic as to why the did/didn’t mean to
And realize God is giving me an opportunity to cash in on the bargain of mercy by letting it go
 
It seems to be that when we DO pray for those who have caused us an unkindness, or caused us to stumble, or caused harm, etc to us, that God gives US special graces to improve and be closer to him.

At least, this has been my experience.

Praying for them at the sign of peace time in mass has been helpful.
 
Also, if WE have led anybody astray, so that they don’t go too far off the rails because of it, and God have mercy on us, too…
 
Oh absolutely ! That is so worth thinking over and making up for somehow…it can be hard to remember ,but our priest did mention it in mass today ,reminding us to examine our conscience at the end of the day.Thanks for the reminder again! How quick we can forget 😶
