Pray for Bill and His Wife

Hi All:

Bill is a man I gotten to know over the past year by greeting him at my church every Sunday at 830. He told me last year some time that he was married for 60 years and that his wife had alzheimers which was the reason fro why she has not been coming to church in the past year.

After the confession last evening I saw Bill which surprised him. I asked him what he was doing there when he normally comes on Sunday, and he told me that his wife passed away on Holy Saturday. He was very sad and trying to hold himself together since there were several people around him. Another thing I rememebed was that he said everything has been so dark since she passed and this has thrown him off.

Please pray for Bill’s wife and also for Bill.

Dear God. Your son, Bill, needs your help. His wife passed away and he is greatly saddened. Please, God, comfort Bill and give him encouragement. Also, God, I pray for his Wife. Please lift her to the gates of Heaven …And, God, if this is Your will, please help the right people find a cure for this terrible disease.
 
My prayers are with Bill and for the soul of his wife.

May her soul and all souls of God’s Loving Mercy every rest in His Peace and may He bring all consolation to Bill and to all who are grieving her passing…keeping Bill in daily prayer…
 
Heavenly Father, as you welcome your child home to your heavenly kingdom, grant her eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon her. In your tender love and mercy, may you comfort all those who knew and loved her Lord, especially her husband of over 60 years. His sorrow is so great Lord, as he learns to walk this earth without her near to him. Be with him Lord, comfort him, and hold his heart in your hands, that he may feel your loving presence always near.
