*Coptic Priest Father Raphael Moussa was gunned down on June 30 by ISIS militants in el-Arish, Egypt, the Crux reported.

Eternal rest grant unto Father Moussa, O Lord.
And let the perpetual light shine upon him.

And may the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Prayer for a Person Who Died Violently

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Father Moussa was violently taken from us. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and parishioners by the power and protection of the cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

a faithful servant was called home. My eyes are in tears right now, but we must not be sad, he is now near Jesus, Mary, Saint Joseph and the mighty Angel Raphael, he is a martyr, he is praying for us and I’m almost sure for those who killed him.
