Lord Jesus Christ, You chose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg you to look with compassion on Your humble servant Father Steve, support him with Your power, comfort him with Your protection, and give him the strength needed to fight against sickness.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.

We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.

V. Keep us, O Lord, as the apple of Thine Eye,

Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior. The same Lord that so loves His children as to lay His life down for them. The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day, and Ascended into Heaven. The same Lord that spoke the word and the Centurion’s Servant was immediately healed. The same Lord that restored sight to the blind; cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame. The same Lord that with a word rebuked the seas and they were calm. The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead. The same Lord that has been given all power both in Heaven and on earth, visit and heal,Father Steve from the afflictions that he is now suffering. Strengthen our faith so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith, trust, and hope that Father Steve will be healed in the same manner that the Centurion’s servant was restored to health. O Holy physician of our souls and bodies, hear this fervent prayer for Father Steve and grant this request. We ask this in the Holy Name of our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lord please help Father Steve.

2 Cor. 4:16-18: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Psalm 27:8: “My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
 
Continued prayers for Father Steve as he struggles with his illness.

    numerous miracles from God for those
    suffering from serious illness. For so
    many years you suffered with cancer,
    and were favored by the vision of Jesus
    coming down from His Cross to cure
    your affliction. We ask you to intercede
    on our behalf for the healing of
    Father Steve.

    Obtain for us, St. Peregrine, the grace to
    patiently endure all sufferings, so that
    we may, in imitation of your virtue,
    more profoundly love our crucified
    Lord, His sorrowful Mother, and

Update on Father Steve.

Father Steve told us at Mass tonight the Doctors have told him his condition is Terminal.
He has about 6 to 12 months.

Please pray for Father Steve. He has asked that we continue to pray.

Lord you remember how similar news about Farrah’s cancer being terminal hit us both like a brick and there were no words for a few minutes to say until we came back from the SHOCK and so Father Steve’s situation takes me back to that very day when I again began Praying for YOU to spare Farrah’s life. I ask a similar Prayer for Father Steve and that THY Will be done. Please ease his suffering and pain as he undergoes this journey. In Jesus NAME Amen.
