I too love Fr. Corapi and met him once when he came to Florida. I did not know he was sick. I think the Mayo Clinic will find out what is wrong. I have know people who have an illness and no one knows who to treat or what to do and one of them is my aunt. She went into the Mayo Clinic and they figured it out and gave her a cure for what she had wrong and it is no longer a problem. I hope that they will find out what is wrong with Fr. Corapi and will pray for his health to be restored. His evangelization is so much needed in this world today.

I will also pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Joseph as well.

I found this letter from from Fr. Corapi on the web.

Most Blessed Mother Mary: I beg you to take my request to your Son. Please heal Fr. Corapi. Our world is in so much need of servants like him. He has greatly affected my life and given me sound spiritual direction. He answered me, when no one else would. Thus, in your mercy, I boldly ask that your Son will heal Fr. Corapi completely. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Thank you, my Dear Mother.

My dear Jesus,
Please heal your faithful servant, Fr. Corapi. We are in need of his great/truthful teachings of our faith. Please hear my plea and have mercy on Father and on the whole world. Amen.

Continued prayers for the Lord’s healing grace to restore health to Fr. Corapi. :gopray:

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Fr. Corapi
For whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
That being restored to bodily health,
He may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

I got an email today from a friend stating that Fr. Corapi is at the Mayo Clinic for testing since the doctors couldn’t find out what’s wrong. I checked his website www.fathercorapi.com
but couldn’t find any updates. My prayers are for the repose of Fr. Bill and for the restoration of Father Corapi’s health.
This email is circulating the net but strangely there is no news of it anywhere.

I will, of course, pray for Fr. Corapi…but am very curious. One side of me is smelling a rumor.

Does anyone have any news from a reputable source on this?

Thanks.

I truly hope this isn’t a false rumor. I think I will call Santa Cruz Media myself. However, I don’t think prayers are a bad idea in any case. All our priests need prayers. If anyone has an accurate disclosure of Fr.'s state of health, it would be appreciated by all of us, I’m sure. God bless.

This is a false rumor… Fr. Corapi is fine. Here is from another forum:
Dear one in Christ,
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ!
I am writing as the message concerning Fr. Corapi’s health is actually a false rumor. After learning of it, I phoned Santa Cruz Media and they informed me that he has had the flu, but that is all. His decision to not travel for 2008 was one made outside of any health issues, which, at this point, by the grace of God, are not as represented in the email excerpt being forwarded and, for your reference, contained below.
Having said that, it is always a good and important thing to pray for our beloved priests. As Fr. Corapi has such a cherished charism, we must pray for him specifically, daily, that God’s grace may continue to enable him to so effectively transform lives for the better.
I do encourage you to phone Santa Cruz Media ( www.fathercorapi.com) yourself on Monday and confirm this information for yourself. The lady I spoke with there said they were already aware something was afoot as they have been getting many calls of inquiry in recent days concerning Fr. Corapi.

I will pray for him anyway. My first exposure to Fr. Corapi dates from before I entered RCIA.

I was merely channel-surfing, and he stopped me in my tracks with his talk about Easter, and 9/11. I have been riveted ever since.

:signofcross:

O clemens, o pia, o dulcis Virgo Maria. Ora pro nobis, Santa Dei Genetrix.
Amen

Friends,
I saw on Spirit Daily this a.m. that prayers are being requested for Fr. Corapi and another priest from India (his names escapes me). It did not say why Fr.Corapi is in need of prayer, but I am assuming he does need the prayers. Thank you everyone! I am praying very hard for him!
Is there something happening, or is he ill? I say prayers for him and others on EWTN, but will make some special prayer requests today. Thank you for sharing this.

I’m praying for Fr Corapi and the preist from India.

Prayerfully,

Renato

Father Corapi Ask For Your Prayers

Father John Corapi
John Michael Note: It is true! This is confirmed by Father John Corapi’s religious order, Society of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Trinity. Mass intentions are being accepted for Father Corapi’s benefit. Here is the letter he wrote requesting prayers.

Dear Stephanie,

Thank you most sincerely for your very kind invitation regarding your May 30, 2008 Celebration of Priesthood. Normally I would be very happy to be there if it were possible.

I am at this moment waiting for a private jet to take me to the Mayo Clinic. I have been quite ill for over six months and the local physicians can’t solve the riddle. In addition, for the first time in 20 years I am not traveling at all in 2008.

Please pray that God’s will be done in my current situation.

We shall pray for your parish and diocese, your Bishop and all of your seminarians.

God bless you,

Fr. John Corapi
