Thank you for the latest info on Fr. Corapi. Being a follower of him, I am very concerned about him and his health or whatever he needs prayers for. I wish someone could get to the bottom of this. But I suppose it doesn’t really matter as long as we are all praying for Father. I know I am and will continue doing so as long as necessary. He is wonderful.

Keeping Fr. Corapi in prayer:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Father Corapi Ask For Your Prayers

Father John Corapi
John Michael Note: It is true! This is confirmed by Father John Corapi’s religious order, Society of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Trinity. Mass intentions are being accepted for Father Corapi’s benefit. Here is the letter he wrote requesting prayers.

From: John Corapi
To: Stephanie

Dear Stephanie,

Thank you most sincerely for your very kind invitation regarding your May 30, 2008 Celebration of Priesthood. Normally I would be very happy to be there if it were possible.

I am at this moment waiting for a private jet to take me to the Mayo Clinic. I have been quite ill for over six months and the local physicians can’t solve the riddle. In addition, for the first time in 20 years I am not traveling at all in 2008.

Please pray that God’s will be done in my current situation.

We shall pray for your parish and diocese, your Bishop and all of your seminarians.

God bless you,

Fr. John Corapi

I just tried the link to this blog and it came up could not be found.

There is a post in this thread deunking the prayer request. However there is also a new thread:

forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=228574

If you scroll down that thread there is a post containing an email exchange between someone and Fr. Corapi’s order. According to these emails his health issues are real.

We may never know the real story:gopray:

The real story is this… I emailed his order personally and got the following response:

Praying for healing of Father John Corapi and all Priest in need of healing. Saint John Vianney, Patron of Priest, Pray for them.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying very hard for this beloved priest, Fr. Corapi. He is in my daily rosaries!

Many of you probably already know this, but I received and e-mail from EWTN and it stated that Fr. Corapi will speak about his health on Mar. 29 on the video we can view (through EWTN) once a week. I think there’s a fee. But if you want to check it out, just go to the EWTN website and it will direct you. So, he must be ill. My prayers are continuing for him. God bless.

Has anyone viewed the video from Fr. Corapi concerning his health? It was supposed to begin airing yesterday, Mar. 29th. Please let me know. I’m anxious to hear about his condition and praying for him as well. God bless.

No, I was hoping that one of you had heard something.

I just watched it.

He has a rare condition(5 or 6 out of a million). It is a tumor(non cancerous) on his para-thyroid that is making it hyperactive. This results in an excess of calcium in the body. The only way to resolve the condition is non invasive surgery. He will be returning to the Mayo Clinic for the surgery at an unspecified date.

Thank you, Kevin! That’s too bad about Father! I will certainly keep him in my prayers. I am glad it’s not cancerous. I’ll have to look up the diagnosis for more details. Thank you for informing us, friend. God bless.👍

Prayers for Father Corapi :gopray:

Lord, watch over your servant Father Corapi in this time of illness. May you grant him strength to endure whatever dis-ease he faces. In time of surgery, when that day comes upon him, may you be with him guiding the surgeons and medical staff, and granting Father Corapi your amazing grace, that he may face a speedy recovery and complete restoration to health. Be with him Lord, that he may continue to share your word around the globe, bringing hope, faith and love to your flock.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Hi everyone:

Has anyone heard anything further regarding Fr. Corapi’s health? I saw him on EWTN tonight referring to his video stream and he looked like he had gained weight. I’m wondering if it’s from his condition. Poor man. He is SO needed. I am still praying for his complete recovery.
