My daughter, Lesa, who is bi-polar took too many medications, prescribed pain ones, Xanax and Ambien.

Sometimes she forgets how many due to being drugged and the Ambien can really cause problems.

She has no memory, but she drove her car under the influence and was picked up. We must pay the Police Dept. even though we do through taxes and then the tow and impound. I don’t have much money and it is going to cost at least $600.

My concern is what will the court do, as I am not well and can’t take her everywhere I they take her license. Also Judges etc. really don’t know how to deal with mental disease, even the hospitals she has been in don’t and treat these patients like animals. I have seen this with my own eyes.

Please pray that she will by the grace of God get better and that the court will at least let her drive to doctors, stores and necessary places.

When she does take too many meds, she usually goes to sleep and that was her intention.

God Bless

O beautiful Flower of Carmel, most fruitful vine,
Splendor of Heaven, holy and singular,
who brought forth the Son of God,
still ever remaining a Pure Virgin,
assist me in this necessity.
O Star of the sea, help and protect me!
Show me that Thou art my Mother.
O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to Thee!

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. I recommend to You in particular Lesa who is much troubled.

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen

I am so sorry to hear of this struggle you are going through with your daughter…it must be so hard on you. I am a mother and grandmother and know the stress this can cause. It is so sad that people (courts etc) know little of the problems there are with mental health problems. I will pray for you and your daughter.

Meditation on Merciful Mother’s Message for Her Children

Hear and let it penetrate your heart, my dear.
Let nothing discourage you, nothing depress you.
Let nothing alter your heart or your countenance.
Do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain.
Am I not hear, your Mother?
Are you not under my shadow and protection?
Am I not your fountain of life?
Are you not in the fold of my mantle?
In the crossing of my arms?
*Blessed Mother, pray for us. *
