Pray for Me - Engaged and in Doubt

I posted here a while back about my engagement to a wonderful Catholic man who has a huge heart, is loving, kind, generous etc…however, he has a lot of debt/bills from his previous marriage (we’ve both been annulled) and I just found this weekend he has more than what was previously revealed (a LOT more)…he recently found a new job making almost $20,000 more (gross)/year and I’m hoping he’ll put this extra to good use (ie: pay down his debt)…any chance of us having a life together (meaning trips, outings, a mutual home, etc) will be based on my salary alone (I make substantially more than him) and I’ve been wavering for quite some time about whether I’m comfortable with this or not…I’ve been to a discernment weekend retreat at a local convent, have prayed daily and yet, can’t seem to decide…I’ve contacted our diocese and have confirmation that it would be ok in my situation to get a prenuptial done, although I feel uneasy about asking for one (again, I have substantial assets and he doesn’t)…I’m 47, well educated, well versed, stable (financially and emotionally), child free (so no contact with ex) and practicing Catholic…very hard to find single men who are practicing Catholics in my area that enjoy the things I do (dancing, motorcycling, reading, live music, travelling)…

Please pray that I’m given a sign or some form of resolution to my quandary…I’m confused about whether I’m staying with him because it’s God’s will or my own will…
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
I will pray for you and ask our Heavenly Father to guide your heart and comfort you during this time.
My mother always said, “When you don’t know what to do, sometimes doing nothing until you’re sure of your choice, is wise.”
 
Never walk on hot coals; you will burn your feet. I am praying for you.
 
Passion of Christ, strengthen me!
Strengthen me under the pressure of temptation.
Strengthen me when principle is at stake.
Strengthen me to do Your Will, My God.
Strengthen me in moments of suffering,
in times of loneliness,
in periods of depression.

nor weaken through human respect,
through a desire to be popular,
through hope of social distinction.
Strengthen me to accept my cross
and carry it generously to the end.
On the battlefield of life,
stand by me that I may never prove a traitor in the ranks.
Stand by me that I may not be dazzled
by the glitter and glow of the enemy camp.

I see that there are warning signs,
DON’T ignore them, they are there
for a reason, maybe, if you CAN
post-pone the wedding plans and
see if the warning signs subside,
then you will know that it’s been
brought about by PRESSURE of
the marriage and not based on reason.

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts as
we forgive our debtors,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Lord a sign of such dishonesty is a betrayal of trust, and marriage should be built on trust, and I ask You to guide this lady to do what is best.
People can be lovely if their interest are going to be served, but that isn’t always a true indicator of character, so please help this woman to rightly decide.
Only You know the true state of people’s souls and minds and intentions, but we have to decide things according to practical wisdom if we are having doubts. You know best, Lord
