voiceofpaula: I hope you read my reply. I know EXACTLY how you feel, seriously, I was the same kind of person in my life (when I was younger). As a matter of fact, I was so unsure of myself with such low confidence that I let my LITTLE brother push me around and make me feel bad about myself. I can assure you, IT GETS BETTER!!! Google words like “FAFSA” and “PELL GRANT” to find out you WILL be able to afford at LEAST 2 practically free years of college (at a 2 year school). I know because I did it. Free school for 2 years is as easy as filling out forms. Call a counselor at a 2 year school and understand me when I say this: DO NOT BE AFRAID. What you cannot see may strike fear into you, but truth from someone that cares about your well-being can remind you that God has a solid plan for you, and when you get there, even part of the way, you will say, “woah, I rock the house!” And, heaven follows. Do me that favor and check out my info on adult education. Now’s the time to find out what kinds of scholarships you can get, everyone has some kind of talent. And if you feel like you don’t, there’s a website for college students with $1,000’s of dollars for just writing essays. Money_in_the_bank!! You got this, ok? And in the meantime, I’m giving a prayer and shout out to Saint Aloysius (pronounced alowishus). He helps out young people.

Saint Aloysous, The Lord has made young adults in his image, as he made all. I pray now for your intervention for those who understand the agony of growing into adulthood blindly, with fear of a lack of solutions.
