Pray for me...Need a new car, mine is done for

My dear old Chevy has finally been on the roads for the last time…😦
I went over town to the post office, & I knew something was wonky. Thought it was a bald tire, but it is more than that–the whole wheel is about to come off, something broke inside it.
I will have to find another vehicle. I have no other means of transport, and I had hoped for some time to save some money to buy a car.
Now, on a fixed income, I am faced with an expense I can’t really afford at this time. No choice.

The worst is the stress. I get really bad about being “closed in”, & I don’t want to give in & try to drive the old one, when I know it is unsafe & unuseable.

Thank you all so much. I am holding all intentions here in my prayers…I came to post, so upset I was in tears, & I found so many folks with so much worse problems, I am embarrassed that I am having such a time over this, but I really do have to have a car…Too many health problems & no public transport.

I will certainly pray for your situation and that a replacement vehicle will come your way.
 
May God give you means to cope with your necessary expenses.

You are in my prayer. It is tough not to have a car to drive around. My g/f’s car is in the same situation. I am giving her ride everyday.
 
Oh, Zooey! I KNOW what you’re going through with this. May you be blessed with a swift and sound solution to this problem. Yeah: there are worse things in life, but having your car collapse can be a real life-changer. God keep you in hope.
 
I’m keeping your intentions in prayer to Zooey, and as Sho said, today is the feast day of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and tomorrow is the feast day of The Visitation of the Blessed Mother, so, I am praying that through her prayers of intercession for you to His Most Sacred Heart that a quick solution will come about for you. :signofcross:

Zooey…Praying that God will help you. I know how hard it is. Being unemployed and with gas prices soaring, I’m in the same boat. May God bring you forth to reliable transportation. May God help you in your struggle. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Please be careful if you have to drive…
