Hello all. I have nt done this before, at least to my best recollection. I humbly, and respectfully request yur prayers for me. I returned to the Catholic Church about five years ag after twenty years in the wilderness. Thank God. I am trying to grow into the mn God wnts me to be, though I dohave my struggles.

Many have had muchharder times than I have had. Still, I am struggling with sin. I dohowever feelGod orking in my life and bringing me closer. I would ask you to pray form me to be blessed with the grace to resist sin and temptatin, and to be blessed with th grace to be a good Catholic man. If any of you find the time, t light a candle or just say a prayfor me, I will be most greatful. Thank you all and Gd bless you all.

and may i suggest, there are two items that help more than ANY other “things” to fight temptation.
the rosary
the scapular

make a habit of praying the rosary, keep one with you always! and when you feel like you may be tempted at least say a Hail Mary…
and wear a scapular.

these are the ones i wear. they are more comfortable than many and support the nuns.

Praying for you.

For freedom from habitual sin. Fasting and Penance, Prayer, go for confession, receive the Holy Eucharist.
 
Of course I’ll pray for you! In fact, i’ve already done it!

Don’t be despaired! Remember that Jesus came to save the sinners and not only the justs. Remember that the one who needs the Doctor -in this case, God- is the sick one, not the healthy. We all are sinners… and if it was for our nature, we would all be condemned to the non-existence. But God is so Merciful that he came to save us from that doom.

Now, we can live with Him, by Him, in Him!!! REmember God is always faithful!!! He will love you always, always, always… independently of what you’ve done in your past! If you need to say to Him that you are sorry for certain things you’ve done, go to a priest and aks for confession. Dont be afraid of telling something to him: remember that you are confessing your sins to God, not to the person of the priest.

But above all, dont forget that… God loves you… so much! And I assure you that when you came back home -Catholic Church- all the saints and angels in Heaven -including our beloved Virgin Mary- made a HUUUUUUUGE celebration!

You are loved! Never forget that! You’ll be in my prayers! Count on them!

Ohhhh and I forgot, haha, the only way of becoming a saint is… always be close to the Sacraments!!! Specially the Holy Eucharist and Confession. And pray, always pray.

You don’t have to do all the Rosary if you are not accostumed to it… start praying a Mistery. But you have to do it daily in order that it’ll become an habit. Then -let’s say in three months- pray two… and so on.

And one of the most beautiful ways of approaching to God is praying in our words, like: “God, I need you now more than ever… don’t ever let me be far from you. Give me faith and make the one that you’ve already given to me, stronger. I want to love you with all my heart, all my being, all my soul.” See? It’s easy. I assure you that If you pray that way, you’ll melt Jesus Sacred Heart and He’ll praise you with all kind of graces!

It will be Our Lady of Guadalupe’s feast in about 15 minutes! You can never go wrong asking her for help!

And I second all the recommendations for praying the rosary! 👍
