Long story short - I’ve had three back surgeries in the past two years, culminating in spinal fusion last September. The fusion restored my ability to walk but, due to nerve and joint damage, I’m still in constant, severe pain. The pain management specialist is trying some injections under anaesthesia Wednesday. I would truly appreciate prayers for a reduction in pain to a manageable level so I can care for my family. God has gifted me with a devoted husband but he can’t do it all forever & I so desperately want to be an active mom and true wife again. Thank you; I know with certainty that the prayers of the faithful are powerful and effective. I am truly grateful for this forum & its members who bring our needs before the Lord.
 
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I will keep you in my morning offering prayers and especially at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

My dear wife has not had the back/spinal surgery…she opted for the Pain Management treatments…sounds very similar to what you are having done. She has had three injections series (one series in neck/spinal area and two series in lower back spinal/hip sciatic nerve areas…under anesthesia) and each one has helped her a great deal…she still limps slightly and has some muscle weakness/atrophy…but we hope that as the weather gets nicer…she can (with the aide of her walking cane)…get out for some very easy…walks…in the very local neighborhood area. She is not in the severe or even discomforting pain anymore…and she can get around and do most everything but a little slower and a little more cautious in the process.

Life has gotten better. I pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen and increase your Hope and comfort…and bless you and your family and care givers.

The only thing bad that my wife experienced (which is pretty normal in most cases) …about 2-3 days after each series of injections…she was in very acute pain…as the medicines worked their way through her spinal/nervous system. Pain pills helped her manage the 1-two days of intense pain…and then it was gone…just like that!

Lord Jesus,
I pray you lessen the pain Faith feels so she can can do the things she would once like to do again with her family - being active. I pray that until this time comes the Lord give Faith hope. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Who went about doing good and healing all, we ask You to bless Your friends who are sick. Give them the strength in body, courage in spirit, and patience in pain. Let them recover their health, so that, restored to the Christian community, they may joyfully praise Your Name, for You live and reign forever and ever. Amen.

LORD faithx6 needs you now. Lord reduce her pain and suffering from back pain and TOTALLY HEAL HER allow her to serve as your servant doing your will . LORD let her help her husband and family. Bless and heal her LORD, thanks LORD in Jesus’s name, amen. . God bless you faithx6 , john

Blessed Mother please ask your Son to aid Faithx6 w/ her back pain. I pray for reduction and hopefully the elimination of the pain, in Jesus’ Name I pray :crossrc:
