Pray for me, please

All fellows brothers and sisters in Christ,

Since I was fifteen I have constantly struggled with what I can only consider now an actual addiction to pornography. I fear what effect this might have on sexual expression later in life. Every week is characterized by a beginning in purity but within 6 or 7 days I usually fall back into sin.

Please, pray with me that the Holy Spirit will give me the strength to overcome this once and for all, and pray for an end to pornography throughout the world, especially as it is so widely available to young people.

I will pray for you. Sins against purity and pornography in this culture are a major problem. Make sure you goto confession after you fall into this sin as it is mortal. If you fail, make a firm resolution to not do it again, goto confession and then try again.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Wow, i’ll definatly be praying for you. SOmetimes I think that sexual sins are the worst kind. Know that Christ conquered death and hell and he can make you overcome this. i’ll be praying for you.

just wanted to let you know you’re not alone… i’m worse off than you both in how much i fall and in not coming back to God as much as i should in confession… i’ll pray for you if you’ll pray for me… keep fightin the good fight! we can do this. with God. :o)

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

That is true. At Fatima, the Blessed Mother said the greatest number of souls are lost to sins of the flesh.

May The Holy Spirit grant you fortitude and constancy of good resolution and may Our Lady Queen of Holy Purity pray for you…
Sometimes resolutions are very hard to keep…it is persistance in that good resolution despite any and all falls that will grant you that Grace to succeed…falls can be very disheartening and discouraging - dont let them be so!..and may Our Lord grant you that strength and constancy…
 
I never heard of pornography,but whatever it is it sounds awful.Praying for you.
