Pray for me-SAT Test Today

Hello all,

I want to ask that you pray for me for all my nerves and stress to go away and so that I can do the best of my ability today on my SAT.

I do hope the OP does well with the SAT testing. I do have a question or concern about this thing with the SAT tests that seem to freak kids out, however.

When I took the SAT I was 13. It was my first year in Jr. High School and it was hardly a big deal to me. I passed it with no problem. And I don’t say this to brag, but out of a concern that so many kids today don’t seem to be able to pass this test when in High School. Why? What is going on in our schools that a basic exam like this one has them so freaked out and scared?

If education works as it should, there should not be an age appropriate test out there that causes any student this amount of difficulty. For example, if math is taught well then it should not matter who administers a test, all the students should be able to pass the thing if they understand the principles of this subject. I think this is true all subjects. Any thoughts?
