I feel so selfish and wrong for asking for prayers for my insignificant problems when there are far greater ones that deserve attention, but I feel I can’t do this alone.

I struggle often with anxiety, ADHD, and scrupulousity. These things, along with the fact I plan to become a politician, cause me great stresses in life, as I am constantly trying to discern good from wrong, and while I know that it’s good to know truth, I feel as though I am becoming obsessed with these things, and I am in pain.

I regularly worry about the people of the world, about their souls, and I feel much suffering for them. I am filled with worries and doubts about so many things as I try to discern how to best serve God in the U.S. Government.

I am in need of your help. I need your prayers. I need to be able to find peace and the ability to be decisive so that I might further God’s message instead of drowning in fear.

I wish to live life like I did before, but without sin.

I want to make the world turn back to God again, to end the culture of death, to spread the message of Divine Mercy. I need your help, oh I need the help of all of you. I need God’s help most of all.

Pray for me.

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginnng, is now and ever shall be
world without end

Amen

Dear St. Dymphna, you gave us an example in your own life of firm faith. Neither flattery, earthly rewards nor the threat of death caused you to waver in your fidelity to God. Please help us then, amid the uncertainties of life, to imitate your wholehearted dedication to Christ. Be good enough to come to our aid in our need, and pray for us to God.
Amen.

O merciful Father, who hast taught us in thy holy Word that thou dost not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men: Look with pity upon the sorrows of thy servant for whom our prayers are offered. Remember him, O Lord, in mercy, nourish his soul with patience, comfort him with a sense of thy goodness, lift up thy countenance upon him, and give him peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

There is no prayer too selfish for God’s ears. He hears the prayers of all people, for He made you.

Dear God,

Relieve this man of the pain bearing on his conscience. Let him know that You are always there to help him, and that no matter how far he travels, he is never alone. He never needs to fear, for You are always there, and that You alone guide men to Heaven.

In short, give him peace of mind, and confidence in himself and You.

In Your name most holy, O-mayn.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

Prayers for your intentions….

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayers. Amen

“If God brings it to you- God will bring you through it.”

O Blessed Archangel Gabriel,
we beseech thee,
do thou intercede for us
at the throne of Divine Mercy
in our present necessities,
that as thou didst announce to Mary
the mystery of the Incarnation,
so through thy prayers
and patronage in heaven
we may obtain the benefits of the same,
and sing the praise of God forever
in the land of the living.

Amen.

Praying with Bible verses from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Mid-morning reading (Terce) (Apocalypse 1:17-18) ©
I saw the Son of Man, and he said to me, ‘Have no fear! I am the First and the Last. I was dead and now I am to live for ever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and of the underworld.’

Noon reading (Sext) Colossians 2:9,12 ©
In Christ lives the fullness of divinity, and in him you too find your own fulfilment. You have been buried with him, when you were baptised; and by baptism, too, you have been raised up with him through your belief in the power of God who raised him from the dead.

Afternoon reading (None) 2 Timothy 2:8,11 ©
Remember the Good News that I carry, ’Jesus Christ risen from the dead, sprung from the race of David’. Here is a saying that you can rely on: ‘If we have died with him, then we shall live with him.’
