Please pray for my mother… I don’t know how much more pain she can endure. She’s been in and out of hospitals since she had cancer 4 years ago. She fell and broke her hip awhile ago and they tried to do a hip replacement but it became infected. They removed the hip and she remained bedridden for months until the infection cleared up. Last week they tried another hip replacement. Now, she has shingles and had to be rushed back to the hospital. She’ll be spending her Mother’s Day in a hospital, and in a tremendous amount of pain from the surgery and shingles.

Please pray for the strongest, kindest, most loving woman I know… My mom :’(

O Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, because thy pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, and because thou hast been lavish in the granting of favors, thou hast been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible. St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus, thou couldst obtain from Him whatsoever thou askest especially: an improvement in the health of Ewenity’s mother, especially the relief of her pain; or, if it is in accordance with the Divine Will, a total cure for her.

Because of your power, all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort. Be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant. Be lavish to us, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee. We promise, if our petition is granted, to glorify thee by making known thy favor, to bless and sing thy praises forever. Amen.

Prayers to Our Lady for Healing

Mary Immaculate, you have given yourself to us as our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. You have asked us to pray with confidence, and we will receive great graces. We know your compassion, because you saw your Son suffer and die for us. In your union with His suffering you became the mother of us all. Mary, my mother, teach me to understand my suffering as you do and to endure it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In your motherly love, calm my fears and increase my trust in God’s loving care. According to God’s plan, obtain for me the healing I need. Intercede with your Son that I may have the strength I need to work for God’s glory and the salvation of the world. Amen.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, (particularly for my mother), and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.
