Pray for my biopsy

I’m facing a biopsy on Friday. I’ll just be glad to know what’s going on. Your prayers, my dear friends in Christ, our much appreciated. I don’t want to go into the details of my condition.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”
and “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles
which you have obtained from God for those who have had
recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous
disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction.

Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Lisa,
whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.

I’m so sorry that you have to go through this.

I understand, as I have been through it, and the waiting is the worst part of it.

My prayers are with you, and your intentions.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular njlisa, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

I am ashamed to say that I’ve neglected my responsibilities as a prayer warrior, which I take very seriously. My prayer life has virtually stopped. I don’t know what to do. I know I must accept God’s will no matter what. But I’m falling to pieces. I pray that God will forgive me for this neglect in my spiritual duties. 😦
