Pray for my boyfriend, his kids, and me (again)

My boyfriend is still having a custody battle with his ex-wife. Last week his lawyer got a court date set. This morning his neighbour phoned him to tell him that his ex-wife is making plans to kidnap the kids before the court date. She already took them for two weeks earlier this year, but she brought them back. My boyfriend is going back to the Philippines to protect his kids. The court date isn’t for months, but he has to be sure. He’s leaving the day after tomorrow. I have 11 months left on my contract here, so we’ll be apart almost a year, if the case isn’t settled right away.

Please pray that his two daughters are protected. Lord, please keep them safe from harm, comfort them about the breakup of their family, and create the best possible outcome for these two girls. Please pray that my boyfriend is able to give them what they need during this difficult time. Please pray that the judge makes the best decision for all involved. Please pray that I have the strength to be supportive during what will be a very trying time in our relationship. I know I’m praying that at the end of this, the four of us will be together.

I know that this ordeal has already lasted a long time, and you faithfully pray, faithully hope, faithfully wait. Our dear sister, we will continue to keep you, your boyfriend, and the children, as well as the mother, in our prayers.

Your boyfriend will have left so I know it will be very difficult for you. Keeping you, him, and the girls in my prayers. May God put His Spirit of love and healing in all concerned.
