Pray for my brother with prostate cancer

Could you please pray again for my brother Konrad who is back in the hospital for treatment of prostate cancer. He has had chemo, radiation and a variety of other treatments and has hung in there over the past couple of years even though the cancer has moved into his bones. I would love to have complete healing for him. I would also like comfort for him, his wife and two older sons. God bless all of you who have prayed for him in the past and will pray for him now. Prayers are a mighty tool.

Father, Divine Healer and Physician, we come to you and ask for the relief of suffering and a complete healing of Konrad. We have faith that you alone can heal him. Guide his doctors to make the right decisions for his health. Strengthen his family and hold them up during their time of suffering. In Jesus name I pray… AMEN

Here is an update on my brother. I talked briefly with him and then later at length with his wife. He is very weak and is loosing a fair amount of blood. The Drs will be administering radiation to his prostate tomorrow. Of course there is much more to all of it. But we hope it will be successful. Perhaps he will have the strength to walk out of the hospital by the end of the week. That is our hope. Thanks again for all your prayers.

Will be praying that Konrad will have the strength to walk out of hospital at the end of this week.
 
Another update on my brother Konrad. He seems to be tiring out. He signed a DNR (do not resuscitate) order. I talked with him and his wife several days ago and he is still in the hospital. I have been trying to reach him recently with no sucess as I will not be near a phone for a couple of weeks. Please pray for him and all of his family.

Another update on my brother Konrad…
I was able to talk with him and his wife several times while we were away. The family is preparing for his death. There are no more cancer treatments available for him at this point. They are implementing hospice service at home and all of his immediate family is taking family leave time. My wife and I were blessed to say prayers and offer masses at the Vatican and several Patriarchal churches in his behalf. We were also blessed with a spiritual encounter with a brother at Assisi who assured us that all of the brothers at Assisi and the sisters of St. Clare would also be praying for comfort and God’s perfect will. I am not sure what that may be. I do know that I am most grateful and humbled by the good will and prayers that so many freely offer to my brother and family. May our dear Lord continue to shower blessing down on this earth and especially those that have prayed for my brother and family.
