Pray for my dad

My dad is on a full commission job and has not been making any money the past month. He sees this as a drop in a larger curse/condemnation by God - he feels that God has abandoned him because he is not making any money. It is very difficult for me to speak with him, because when I say that God does not have to bless us when we want to be blessed, he regards my advice as not part of God’s revelation, and contrary to what he feels God should do for him.

My dad has been praying that God reveals His plan to my dad, even if that means a different job, but he just doesn’t think that God would do that to him.

Please pray that God’s will is to be done in this matter, and that my dad can accept the outcome, even if that means taking a lower-income based job to bring in some money.

Please also pray for me (my name is Rob) that I am able to speak to my dad without being prideful or condescending. I am not even 20 years old and I am trying to talk to my dad about dealing with the hardships of life without having any real struggles to speak of. I don’t even know if I am the voice that my dad needs to hear - but please pray that my dad can accept God’s will whatever the outcome.

Dear Rob, I will keep your Dad in prayer.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name please help this man who is receiving no encouragement or hope from his work and is becoming depressed. He is trying his best to no avail. Please help him to find more rewarding employment before his depression becomes habitual. So many people are finding it difficult to find employment or satisfactory income, and life Bob they find it painfully discouraging. Please help Bob, please help them all.

Let Your Spirit show through Rob’s kindness and understanding in any way he can encourage or cheer his Dad. Grant that his Dad will recover his faith in God and self, and find renewal. Please reveal Your love and will to them both. Thank You, Father

( Do not despair, pray for him daily, specially ask Saint Joseph to intercede before Jesus for your dad, while you pray the rosary. Prayer is very powerful. Talk to Saint Joseph, pray the rosary and completely trust that the Lord has heard and answered your prayer. Your prayer, faith and joy will do miracles in your home. Pray and be joyous that the Lord Almighty hears yor prayers.)

Father, we ask you to help Rob encourage
his Dad. Give him the wisdom of an adult.
Help him to tell his dad how proud he is of him.
We also beg of you to help Bob with his employment.
Guide him to the place where you want him to be.
Give him the wisdom to see this place and open his
heart and mind to do your will.
Send down your special angel to this family so that
they may have peace and comfort.
