Pray for my daughter

Lord, I thank you for all that you have provided for my daughter, be it friends, opportunities to grow or people to listen.

I ask Lord, that you will lead my daughter to that which is your will, and for her to continue to make new friends and perhaps even meet someone new that will be special to her. Her ex has moved on and I think that it would help her if she could meet someone new too. She thinks she will never find happiness with anyone else, but is too young and too inexperienced to know that this is not true. Bring back the joy she used to have for all things. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

It has been about six months since the breakup. It has become apparent to me that although she is not speaking to me about her ex as she used to, he is still very much on her mind. I believe she is now keeping her longing to herself as she knows that everyone thinks it is time to move on. I am having a difficult time walking the line of not encouraging her and telling her to move on. She reacted very badly once when I gave the slightest suggestion of that. So I try to remain silent on him, but encourage her to make new friends. It has put a bit of a strain on our relationship. Lord, I thank you for all that you have provided for my daughter, be it friends, opportunities to grow or people to listen.
