and the strength to accept all suffering in union with Christ, our Savor.

Glorious St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly hosts, who stand’s always ready to give assistance to the people of God; who fought with the dragon, the old serpent, and cast him out of heaven, and now valiantly defends the Church of God that the gates of hell may never prevail against her.

I earnestly entreat you to assist the mother of the Mernagh family, in her fight against cancer. Be with her, O mighty Prince! that she may courageously fight and wholly vanquish this dreaded disease. Watch over her family and mine and protect them from the everyday temptations and evils of this world. Bring my prayers and theirs to the throne of God where all prayers are heard and answered. Amen.
 
God of mercy, You inspired Saint Clare with the love of poverty. By the help of her prayers may we follow Christ in poverty of spirit and come to the joyful vision of Your glory in the Kingdom of heaven. We ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
