Pray for my newborn please?

My wife and I just had our first child, Valentina, about 3 weeks ago.

She’s had a lot of gas and fussiness and barely sleeps. As of now she’s been awake for practically the past 13 hours, with maybe a little sleeping here or there. And this hasn’t been that unusual. This isn’t good since newborns are supposed to sleep 18 hours a day.

The doctor thinks it has to do with her reaction to the formula: we first tried regular, and then soy, and now we’re trying a third formula (lactose-free) before having to get the special expensive kind (hypoallergenic).

So if you could, please pray that this formula works for her and can make her feel better. Oh, and also pray for my wife too. I know they say that you lose sleep with a newborn, since you have to get up and feed them every few hours, but my wife is really not getting sleep since the baby is awake and crying hours upon hours per day/night.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Valentina. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Valentina’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dearest Jesus, I ask you to make it possible for the mother of the baby to be able to feed her child herself ,as it is the only thing which is entirely good for this little baby .
If this is not possible that she will be able to take the formula .

Lord please watch over Valentina and her parents as they struggle to find a formula that will agree with the baby’s digestive system. Help both parents get the rest they need so they feel prepared to be awake for Valentina and care for her. Praying they will find something so as not to have to buy the expensive formula.

Lots of prayers for you, your wife and of course the baby.

My then wife and I had a very similar experience when our first was born. We ended up needing the expensive formula. It was very tiring and excruciating to go through as we simply could do nothing but pray he’d stop screaming and spitting up. Thankfully after about 5 months he grew out of it and neither of his siblings were a problem. He will be getting his driver’s license soon.
 
Did the Doctors say it might be colic?

Father in heaven, thank you for this bundle of joy… yes, joy and heartache when something is wrong and not easy to fix. Please send a solution for this new little family. Send them also faith, strength, peace, hope, love and a little sleep. Thank you again, Heavenly Father. Stay close to us in our lives. Amen.
 
Am praying for your family. My daughter had GERD and was prescribed a formula for that. Also, we were told to put these drops in her bottle to get rid of the bubbles. Sorry, don’t remember what those are called, as it’s been over 7 years. You can talk to the Dr about this. Sending prayers your way!
