My beloved parish,St.Elizabeth’s of Wilmington,de. was found liable in a priest abuse case by a jury in Dover,De.As of right now we have been ordered to pay $3,000,000.00 to the abused person. I have lived in the parish all of my life and I know that we might not survive this ordeal esp since punitive damages have yet to be rewarded.The priest has been ordered to pay $30,000,000.00 which of course will never happen.This now defrocked lowlife has only spent 30 days in jail and was not sued by the individual he was said to have abused in New York state.The ex priest was the abused uncle!

I guess this is what Jesus meant by turning the other cheek. Comments in the paper were full of hate and anti-catholic lies.Even some so called Christians said that parishioners would not go to heaven because we supported a church that supported criminals.I have never been more
devastated and forlorn about my faith as I am today.We are truly victims of this vicious human being.

I know as we all do that the parish is more then the priest that are called to support it.My parish is over 100 years old and has given much to the local community and through the school has given the community many hard working and giving individuals.

NOW WE STAND ALONE SEEMINGLY WITHOUT HELP FROM EITHER POLITICIANS
OR THE CHURCH ITSELF.ONLY GOD CAN HELP US NOW.ger
 
I offer my prayers to your Parish, with all my heart, God bless St. Elizabeth.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
 
So that your parish will be spared closing, Lord, hear our prayer.
 
Lord, give courage and guidance to those in this parish. Help them keep their faith and nearness to You during this difficult time. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.

P.S. Remember that those that love the Lord often face persecution. You are in good company with many of the Saints. They will pray for you too. You are not alone.
 
Dear Father in Heaven, please save St.Elizabeth’s of Wilmington and its congregation. A Credo, Our Father, Hail Mary, A Glory Be and a Fatima Prayer said for the parish. Amen
 
Lord please help the parish and its parishioners at this time of necessity and need. I pray that they seek your guidance and comfort during this ordeal,
