Things have been moving fast. An xray of her shoulder caught a small mass in her lung. Two weeks ago, a biopsy showed it to be cancerous. Last week it was determined not to have spread. Today we meet with the surgeon who will be removing the upper lobe of her right lung. As of now, the schedule is for surgery on Friday. Such a small incision, she may be out of the hospital by Monday. The intention is for us to go to the Philippines for a family reunion the first week of December, God willing. She’s pretty upbeat, but scared, of course.

Your prayers are welcome and appreciated.

God Bless You.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

I’m praying both of you.

God always listens.

Stay calm - your wife needs your strength

Thank you everyone. Actually, there’s so much God has done for us. I see it better than she does right now, but two years and 6 months ago, God (literally) shook the devil out of us. I was into porn, and carrying on in that way. I saw the errors I was making, repented, started RCIA and became Catholic, all with considerable turmoil going on around us because of me. The turmoil was to make us both stronger and to get us ready for this current event, I believe. One of the other catecumen’s sponsor is a doctor, and after about 2 years of ever getting deeper involved in our parish, we changed to this doctor. My wife complained of shoulder pain, and the rest you know about. I doubt I could have handled this and been the supportive husband I’m trying to be without every ounce of what we’ve been through. I’m not justifying what I did, but He really turned it around.

**I encourage you to say a chaplet to God’s Mercy!
Let’s pray - especially at 3 p.m.(the Hour of Jesus’s Death)!
Special gift of Grace!
Trust in God’s Mercy. Jesus will help your wife!
Jesus will be her consolation!

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY**

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

God Bless You all !

Beautiful and open hearted story, David…thank you very much for sharing it:thumbsup: . The Lord provides for us all along our way that often we do not sight until we look back with the benefit of hindsight.
Praying for your wife and that all will unfold happily where her health is concerned and sufficiently for you both to travel to the Phillipines at the end of this year. God be with you both!
Praying The Rosary this afternoon for all CAF members and those with special intentions…
