Pray For Our Policemen & Policewomen~ from Catholic Doors Ministry

O Almighty God,
Whose great power and eternal
Wisdom embraces the universe,
Watch over all policemen and policewomen, and
Law enforcement officers everywhere.

Protect them from harm
In the performance of their duty
To stop crime, robbery,
Riots and violence.

We pray, help them keep our streets
And homes safe, day and night.

We commend them to your loving care
Because their duty is dangerous.

Grant them strength and courage
In their daily assignments.
Dear God, protect these brave men and women.

Grant them your almighty protection,
Unite them safely with their families after
Duty has ended.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses.
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

Very good prayer, I have a son who is a cop so I’ll use it often. I also have a firefighter, is there a similar prayer for them?

Thank you for posting this. In a nearby town, last Tuesday, two police were killed. This was the first time any city law enforcement there had been killed.

I’ll be praying this from now on.
