I know that there’s the perpetual prayer thread for priests, but I would like to ask for some more specific intentions. First for a Father from a neighboring parish where I sometimes attend mass, and I greatly admire his kindness, intelligence and his bright spirit. However, he is taking some needed retreat time, and I ask prayers for his peace of mind and heart and strength for his ministry. Also for the priest of my parish who has had some health issues, so please pray for him to have good health. We really love and appreciate him. In addition, one of the resident friars has back issues.

I’m sure that we’re all aware of the clergy shortage we face, and it is being felt in my diocese. Please remember to pray for an increased call to vocations.
