Pray for Red

Red is my brother’s father-in-law. He had two aneurisms in January and has had extensive surgery to correct them and all things considered has done surprisingly well. However after his last surgery he has now gotten MRSA in his lungs and C-Diff and is in critical care. The infections have caused further swelling on his brain and spine and they placed a shunt in his head to relieve the pressure on his brain.

We are praying. There is nothing else we can do. And I would ask you please to join in with us. I am praying a Rosary everyday and would please ask you to do whatever is in you for Red, his wife Susan, their daughters Nicole and Michelle and my brother Dani. This family desperately needs prayer.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Red. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Red’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Lord, mercifully relieve any weight on the hearts of this family, on Red, and Susan and Nicole and Michelle, Dani and bogeydogg. Enkindle in their hearts the strength to persevere through this and all matters. Grant them graces for faith, hope, love, and joy always. Cleave the dark forces of this world with a spear of heaven’s light, that our hearts be not discouraged and always drawn toward the eternal fountain of relief. Send angels to minister to this family and all medical staff working in this situation. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Mary, full of grace, spiritual mother to those in need, I fervently request your heavenly intercession for Red who is ill and seeks God’s miraculous assistance. You truly care for the sick and offer them your compassionate support in powerful acts of healing.

Stay near to Red with your maternal protection. Console our anxious hearts and grant that our physical and emotional sufferings be a source of purification and growth for eternal life. Amen.
