Please pray for me to have a safe delivery. My due date was Monday and we will be seeing the dr today. Will probably schedule an induction tomorrow if he’ll allow it. Would really like to go on my own, but also don’t want to be coming home just a day or 2 before Christmas (if we induced next week).
Praying that all goes well and I won’t end up needing a c-section or anything. My first 2 were a week over and we scheduled induction, but they ended up coming on their own just a day or two before. Also pray for God’s protection over my family to preserve us from illness. DH may have been exposed to flu this weekend visiting his brother. SIL was sick last week and his brother was sick just this last Monday. I was having some symptoms last night, but thankfully that seems to have passed and maybe just my body’s way of getting ready.
I had to have a staph infection lanced open on Monday, so besides being on anitbiotics and getting ready for childbirth, any one of us getting sick is just about too much to think about. Actually heard Fr.Groeschel once say that a woman running a soup kitchen actually cooked with Holy Water, so besides blessing DH and children and our home, took a swig of it last night!
