Pray for search and rescue/recovery efforts in Tennessee and Kentucky

There are several missing and presumed dead people (mostly young males 16-25 range) due to flooding/water activities in the general area. Please pray for the search and rescue/recovery efforts underway and for the safety of those searching. Please pray for the families and loved ones of those missing. It’s storming again here and that is only delaying efforts. One individual (my family has ties to) in particular please. He was swept away in a flash flood just after he was baptized. He just recently felt called by Jesus to conversion and now he is gone.

Thank you for the prayers. The body of the one young man with ties to my family has been recovered. Please pray for peace and comfort for his family and for all the other families with missing loved ones.

CONSOLER OF THE AFFLICTED.

Dear St. Anthony,
comforting the sorrowful is a Christian duty
and a work of mercy.
By word, attitude, and deed
I should try to brighten their days
and make their burden easier to bear.
St. Anthony, Consoler of the Afflicted,
may I remember when helping someone in sorrow
that I am helping Christ Himself.
Kindly mention my pressing needs to Him:

For the families of those missing, for the families of those
whose loved ones bodies have been recovered, for the repose
of their souls…
