**PRAYER TO THE BLESSED LOUIS AND ZÉLIE MARTIN **

God of eternal love,

you gave to us in the blessed spouses Louis and Zélie Martin

an example of holiness lived out in marriage.

In the midst of the duties and difficulties of life,

they sustained faith and hope.

They raised their children to become saints.

May their prayers and their example

support all families in their Christian life

and help us all to grow in holiness.

If it is Your will,

deign to grant us the grace we ask you right now, the healing of Steve and Renata’s marriage,

through their intercession,

and include them in the number of the saints of your Church.

Please keep my husband’s heart pure and focused on our marriage that he will see the light and be lightened to give our marriage another chance to be restored and loving to heights beyond heaven.

Also I pray for the dearest people on this forum who are troubled and depressed by the thoughtlessness of our spouse.

Notice, how it is women that are hurt by the men they love. Surprisingly, there are no men out there frustrated by their wives. What is wrong with this picture. No doubt, women put more efforts into their marriages then men.

Men are from mars and women from venus.
 
Please do not discount all men. There are plenty of women that cheat and/or otherwise frustrate their husbands. Moreover, even the worst man can be saved and brought back to God.

I am a man and a husband. I know that I’ve been less than honorable, and I know that my wife also frustrates me too. God has pulled me up from very dark areas, even when I didn’t think I was worth saving. I still turned to him, and he listened. It appears to have taken some time for him to respond, but I realize now that He was really waiting for me to realize that I could do nothing to save myself. I had to truly realize that I was powerless without Him. I couldn’t change me, only He could once I was willing. So too, I cannot change others, only He can. I could only pray for insight, understanding, and to know what to say and when to say it. I could only pray to live the life that God intended me to live, and by living that life, by an example to others. Like St. Francis said “Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."

Marriage was never meant to be easy. It is a heavy cross. We must turn to God at all times, and ask Mary and the saints to intercede for us. I implored the Blessed Mother to intercede for me and St. Monica to intercede for my wife.

I continue to pray for you, your husband, and your marriage.

Possibly, men are more reluctant to admit when there is a problem, out of pride. I think it is bitterness leading you to conclude that men do not put an effort into their marriages. Many do. I will pray for you, and hope that both your hearts will be healed, so that he will be loving and kind and you will be loving and forgiving. I know that will be very hard. I do not discount your suffering!
 
Hi Renata , I’m continuing my prayers for you , your husband and for your family .
Heavenly Father , bring peace and calm to their home and relationship , heal them from depression and all other problems they are struggle now . Grant them and help them to move forward one step at a time in Your strength and by Your grace .

Please pray that Steve’s heart will lighten and forgive me for what I have done to him. I love him with all my heart but what he has done to me is the worse thing any SPOUSE could do to another.

Please Dear Lord, let him have a change in heart. For my son’s sake as well as mine.

Let her see that she should stay away from married men, especially mine. Face up to the music and go somewhere else.

Bring Steve back (I should clarify, he is still at home) to our marriage, teach him that his actions have negative effects on our son and his two other children.
