Pray for the global eradication of polio

We have never been this close to ending polio around the world! In the year 2016, there have only been 11 cases of WPV and 3 cases of cVDPD so far. The only endemic countries are Pakistan and Afghanistan. St. Margaret Mary Alacoque is the patron saint for polio sufferers and against polio. Ask for her intercession to end polio. Pray also for the eradication of other diseases that are eradicable.

We beseech thee that parents become responsible and local medical facilities provide the vaccine against this dread disease. We ask this through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Praying that the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan will cooperate with medical professionals to eradicate polio soon.

Saint Margaret Mary, thou who wast made a partaker of the divine treasures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, obtain for us, we beseech thee, from this adorable Heart, the graces we need so sorely. We ask these favors of thee with unbounded confidence. May the divine Heart of Jesus be pleased to bestow them upon us through thy intercession, so that once again He may be loved and glorified through thee. Amen.

Praying for the eradication of this disease from the planet.

My dad had it when he was a child. No bad effects but he says he remembers being so sick.
