**O glorious St. Paul,
who from a persecutor of Christianity,
did become a most ardent apostle of zeal;
and who to make known the Saviour Jesus Christ
to the ends of the world did suffer with joy imprisonment,
scourging, stonings, shipwrecks
and persecutions of every kind,
and in the end did shed your blood to the last drop,
obtain for us the grace to receive,
as favours of the Divine Mercy,
infirmities, tribulations,
and misfortunes of the present life,
so that the vicissitudes of this our exile
will not render us cold in the service of God,
but will render us always more faithful and fervent.

Thanks so much to you and to ALL who continue praying for the the USA in particular but for all the Americas and for the Whole World which is in such need of God’s Mercy!
 
this thread’s first post was this past 4th of July at quarter to six in the morning…I am truly amazed that it has not had many, many more responses

Dear Peter,

Thanks for joining in prayer via this thread. I am very grateful for all who are praying for our country and for the world so in need of God’s Mercy. I believe God hears our prayers, especially when we offer our prayers through and with Mary our Mother who is the Patroness of the United States. Today on her Feast of the Assumption, perhaps many more will be mindful of her request at Fatima to pray the Rosary for peace.

This is the 100th Anniversary of her apparitions at Fatima and a good opportunity for all of us to renew our devotion to Jesus through Mary, pondering the Mysteries of their lives.

My husband read something in today’s news about the North Korean leader “blinking” in so far as he has ceased the threats on Guam. Perhaps we’ll hear more about that during the day, but let us remember to pray the Rosary with attention and devotion – it is a very powerful prayer!

Thanks again, Peter; and thanks to all who are praying with us for the USA and God’s gift of His Peace for all the world.
