Our Father who art in heaven
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and
forgive us our trespasses, as we
forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
May the Lord of all hold these victims securely in his eternal hands. Amen.

I am keeping them in my prayers. May the Lord be merciful on those we have lost and may He give their families and others affected by this tragedy the strength they need.

Dear Lord, We trust in your divine mercy that you are holding the people of Japan in the palm of your hand, and will guard all of them in this their deepest hour. It is ironic that it has happened to them on Friday, the day, we remember as the day of your own death. Please in help all the heroic rescue workers. Cool the inner workings of their nuclear power plants, spare them from further disaster in the aftermath of so many aftershocks. Help all families that have been separated that may soon be reunited. Bring peace to their hearts and life back into their broken spirits. We ask our Blessed Mother to intercede as she undoubtedly already is to bring these prayers to your feet. Amen.
