I had a wonderful message from a friend I haven’t seen in a while. She’s in recovery, and wants to reconnect with her faith and the sacraments. She asked me if I could take her to Mass and confession this weekend.

… But then she messaged me this…
… from my friend “My friends only experience with the Catholic church was racism and exclusion when she was a very young child. And now another woman, (Chelsea) also wants to come. So I got this other message from her, after I said that I’d ask for you all to pray for them…

Praying for you and each of them. Also for Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future for it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). What a wonderful Saturday with my little lamb who spent time in confession. The priest wants to do some further spiritual direction with her as well.
We went to another church to go to a vigil Mass. We were early. I gave her a rosary and we prayed for a while. I got a phone call and had to go outside to answer it. WHile that happened a parishoner came in, saw my little lamb, and basically told her she should’nt be in the church. The older parishoner could, but my little lamb wasn’t invited? I came into the church and my friend asked if there was time, could we pray the stations. I was delighted to. I have a St. Alphonse LIgouri Stations prayer on my iphone. It’s very reverent. When we passed the older parishoner at the 8th station I spoke the responses a little louder so that she could see the woman she wanted out of the church was reverently praying the stations. It’s a little lesson to all of us, that our outward appearance isn’t necessarily what is in the inside…
The other two will be attending Mass with her this Sunday, along with another gentleman.
Since going to confession and Mass she’s been going to the Blessed Sacrament to pray. She took a unbaptized guy with her to pray there, and this is what happened, in her exact words:
“hey. so another friend of nine who is a Christian has very recently become curious to no about the Catholic faith. I had taken him to adoration where he became moved by pieces of St faustina s dairy. I think he might join us this Sunday as well. dare I say possible new priest. he is also wanting to take rcia”

God is so good and moving in this beautiful soul. Please pray for her “S”. I look forward to taking her and her converts to experience God’s mercy in the Mass. I think I will make up some beautiful prayer cards, for a prayer for a “Spiritual Communion” for them, as they can’t receive the Eucharist.

Thank you for your beautiful prayers. I know and believe that your prayers are helping “S” and her friends to get to know our Lord. Very powerful things are happening.

Please continue to pray as S. and Michael and Jonathan experience the beauty of the Church…
Have you had those moments that you say to yourself, this is a moment I won’t forget?
It was kind of like that at Mass today.
It turns out that Jonathan is hoping to start a venture that incorporates helping poor youth (boys) to gain great employment through the trades. So he attends Mass at a Salesian Parish on the feast of St. John Bosco.
He’s had a pretty powerful conversion experience and is even contemplating what it might be like to be a priest. I told him he should attend RCIA this September, but in the meantime, start to learn. It turns out that’s exactly what he’s been doing, reading as much as he can about the Church.
Michael is more quiet and calm. But hey, there he was at Mass! He has a very dry sense of humor, which I have to remember, because I can answer so seriously sometimes… It was such a wonderful place to be, helping three young people grow in faith and hope in these crazy times.
Keep praying for them 🙂

They want to visit the Benedictine Abbey this spring.
