Heavenly Father,

We pray that those who suffer from mental illness may find a peace and quiet of the mind. May their illness not be looked down upon and we pray that they may seek help and better the quality of their lives.

We ask this the Christ our risen Lord,

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (those suffering from mental illness). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into those suffering from mental illness’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying to St. Dymphna for the health & recovery of all afflicted with any forms of mental illness.
 
I pray for them daily. I have friends and relatives with the problem.
 
Dear Jesus, Please look kindly upon those who are suffering from mental illnesses. Please help them to find peace and calm, and keep them from doing themselves or others any harm in their illness and confusion. Please guide them all to find the best, most appropriate medical help and treatment for their conditions. Please also help those around them to be able to cope with their condition and regard them with compassion and understanding. In Jesus’ Name I humbly ask this. Amen.

when we are weak, suffering, and vulnerable.
Reach out to those who experience mental illness.
Lift their burdens, calm their anxiety, and quiet their fears.
Surround them with Your healing presence that they
may know that they are not alone. We ask this through
the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes and in the name
