Pray for those who are isolated and alone even on Holidays too

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

It’s a lonely road out there. I find it especially painful to go to Mass and leave without interacting with another person. I understand we are focused on the presence, but I’ll tell you folks …

I am not sure why the social dogma of the Church isolates single people even more. I don’t understand why people don’t make an effort to chat or say a kind word to a stranger.

Maybe I should take my own advice and engage people after Mass. It’s difficult to do when wounded.

I ask for your prayers. In the meantime I’ll try to be his hands and feet as well.
