Please pray for the lost lonely ones that they may find God in thier darkness. All Praise Glory to God Who is the friend in the darkness. Please pray for those who have no friends, who suffer through struggles with sadness, depression, and hopelessness- may the Glory of God overwhelm them in there sorrow, HOLY IS HIS NAME! All praises to Jesus the Lord! My patron Sts Peter, Jude, Patrick, Holy Virgin- please pray for them and be their friends when there is no one else- may you all continue to glorify the most Holy name of Christ in the Communion of saints! :signofcross: :gopray2: :hug3:

Dear Rita, model Wife and Widow, you yourself suffered in a long illness showing patience out of love for God. Teach us to pray as you did. Many invoke you for help, full of confidence in your intercession. Deign to come now to our aid for the relief and cure of all lonely people. To God, all things are possible; may this healing give glory to the Lord. Amen.

Oh God, who is all good, thank you for being there for us all, in the dark and lonely times…we know you are there. Please lend your comfort and let your presence be felt by those in need. Thank you for your love. Amen
 
I myself,who feels so alone this advent season, will include all those who are lonely and feel alone in daily prayer
 
God bless you for posting this. I will pray very hard for all of the lonely. I have for years prayed daily for them.
 
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses.
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

I will pray to our Lord and ask Him to send someone to all the lonely people in the world for comfort. I know what it’s like to feel lonely and I know lonely people. God bless the lonely and take care of them. Amen.

:gopray: Lord, you love those who are unloved. You reach out for the ones who no one else reaches out to. Redeem these souls bring them to Your heart. Take away loneliness and depression. We pray that You would continue to work through those situations. Continue to be the the friend to the friendless and the father to the fatherless. Let these souls feel You in such a special way.

Thank you for remmembering those who are lonely especially now in these holidays. I do think everyone realize that not all of us have family and friends to gather around us to give us that warm and fuzzy feeling that you are not alone. I also believe that this is another form of suffering given by God to santify ourselves and others. I know what is to feel alone I practically have lost all of my close relatives. It is very hard especially on these holidays that everyone keeps talking about “their” family and freinds without any regards for those who have none, My prayer is that these that all lonely people of this country and around the world find each other and love one and another just like our Lord told to do. I pray that the world stop being so self-centered and think about the lonely people of the world, learn to embrace them as brothers and sisters we all are in Christ.
 
Some folks are lonely in a crowded room. The reasons for loneliness most certainly come in many flavors like everything else. However for some I pray the following poem might help some who struggle with being alone.

Outwitted
He drew a circle that shut me out __
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win;
We drew a circle that took him in!

The point is not critize those who are lonely but to have compassion and offer support becuase that is how our lord would want us to behave. We need to imitate him and not judge or try to figure out because we do not know all answers ONLY GOD knows all the answers. As catholics we need to strive to be more compassionate and less critical of others. I do not why some people have a lot of family aorund and others don’t.so, let’s be a little more kind and considerate. this forum is to pray for people not to critize them,
