Pray for uncharitable posters

I have been a member on these forums for awhile now and have found it, for the most part, to be a wealth of knowledge. I have also found soooo many posters, Catholic and non-Catholic, who are, to put it nicely, very uncharitable to others. It’s one thing to passionately defend your faith but another thing to be downright mean to people who don’t have your same views. Multiple times, I have seen posts by people who are just looking for some help and guidance and they are attacked and it saddens me 😦
Let’s pray for these people and those they have offended. Thank you.
 
Praying. Some of the other forums I go on are much worse, particularly the political ones. It’s sad to see how uncharitable some people can be. People should be able to disagree without being so mean about it.

Thank you, Krissy, for posting this prayer petition. I know what you’re talking about because I was hurt by another member when I innocently posted a question and it still hurts to this day when I think about it. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Amen!
 
Very heartily agreed - I think it’s perhaps the type of forums I’ve been perusing the last few days, but some posters have been very unkind indeed (to each other, not to me). They’re the minority, but they are a loud minority.

Is a Chaplet of Divine Mercy an appropriate choice here?

Not only should we pray now for this intention, but we can all make a practice of saying a prayer to be charitable before we post.

Lord God,Remember Christ your Son who is peace itself
and who has washed away our hatred with His blood.
Because you love all men and women,
look with mercy on all who are engaged in battle.
Banish the violence and evil within all combatants
so that one day, we may all deserve to be
called your sons and your daughters.
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
 
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

No one should be attacked for their beliefs, we are all fifferent and god loves us all, praying with you :gopray2:
