Prayer to St. Anthony for Employment
Blessed St. Anthony, in life you were ever mindful of the needs
of the afflicted, consuming yourself in the service of God and
for the good of souls. You were the enemy of idleness and
a tireless worker in the vineyard of the Lord. Please beseech
God to grant Bradlee a suitable job, which may procure for him
and his loved ones a decent livelihood, and at the same time
be a means of personal sanctification and of real service
to others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Prayer to the Heart of Jesus
Most loving Heart of Jesus, please refresh Bradlee’s
body and spirit so that that he may receive You at Holy
Mass. Touch gently this life which You have created,
now and forever. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
