Dear Friend I am so sorry to read of your pain. I can fully understand how you are feeling when I have been through so very much with one of my sons. Our Blessed Lord hears all our prayers and does indeed help our daughters and sons in guiding them. In the end though they have to decide to choose to take His guidance. God loves you as He loves each one of us. I know you are hurting right now but try to have faith that it is in God’s hands and He will help our sons and daughters through these difficult times and guide them to make good decisions…Just a little update. Thanks for all of your prayers for all of these years. For 4+ long years I have prayed and prayed and prayed for this daughter. Things are better. She has made some strides and our relationship is a bit better. However, I am feeling absolutely shattered at some recent decisions she has made. I am so angry with God and heartbroken. I’m not sure how to push through. I am an expert at putting up a good front and plan to do so through this latest heartache. I had been so hopeful. So many signs here and there that have helped me get through and keep faithfully praying. Please pray for strength for me. I am devastated. Why would God allow so much that I have prayed would NOT happen. Keeping me hopeful with false signs of light? I feel lost and uncertain as to how to proceed…
You and your daughter are in my prayers
God bless you
Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen
Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
