Lord God, please, in Your Mercy, allow this father to survive his surgery and regain his mnemonic function and acuity. Thank You, Lord God, for allowing we humans to be able to perform surgery on such a marvel of Your creation within our bodies - our brains. Please guide the surgeons that perform on this father, and console and comfort the family who is anticipating the outcome. Not my will, but Your Will be done, Lord. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.

St. Camillus, pray for us.

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Peter
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
