Hi everyone. Could you all please pray that I would never leave the Catholic Church again? I would greatly appreciate it. I just left Islam which I converted to a little more than a week ago. Please pray for me that I would not have anymore doubts and that I would never leave the Faith again. I just returned home from confession. 🙂
You are in my prayers Holly!

And I will pray that you cultivate a special devotion to Our Lady (ie. the Rosary)

God Bless You!

Paul

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Praying for you Holly,
May God make his Presence felt in your life.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

IMO, it looks like you’re on a spiritual journey, a seach. I’ll be praying for you that the Lord will keep you secure and reveal His love and truth to you.

I, myself, have ‘tried’ other religions. I grew up Lutheran. Tried Baptist, and then came through RCIA into the Catholic Church.
The Lord has shown me that Catholicism is the first, and only true way to journey. Yes, the Church has human flaws, but the doctrine is the only truth. I will pray that you can also realize that “Home is where your heart should be.”

Dear, dear Jesus, please allow this child of yours to cognitively realize this Catholic path to be the road to Your absolute truth.
Shelter and care for your child while she travels and learns her way toward eternal life with you and all in heaven. In your most precious name, I do fervently pray…Amen

Dear Lord, watch over this child of yours. As the Good Shepherd let her not stray. We thank you for the richness of our faith and and thank you for your kindness in guarding us as we try to find our way. Thank you in advance for the grace you give to keep us in the faith. Amen

Thank you everyone. I am unfortunately having doubts again. 😦

Bumping this up. Still having doubts. 😦
Holly, will continue to pray for your faith. Please don’t give up on praying and also asking God to increase your faith. Keep going to Mass and listening to the Readings the Gospel, and receiving the Holy Eucharist. May the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be with you always…

Jesus, Holy Spirit, please give Holly peace and unwavering faith. Please give her emotional and mental security that avoids those sites and disturbances that unsettle her. Thank You…Trishie

A holy hug…
A welcome back…
A prayer that you find that the home you almost left is your home forever.

Be a witness, pray much and hold on to the hands of Jesus and his Blessed Mother, forever.

Blessings

Still praying for you Holly. Please try to be strong! God bless you!

You asked us to prayer that you don’t have doubts. I’m not going to pray for that because we all have doubts. I’m still praying that when those doubts come, because they will, that you realize they are nothing more than tricks your mind is playing on you with its limited knowledge and abilities. If we can’t figure out how the Egyptians made the pyramids, it is no wonder the human mind sometimes can’t figure out how and why the Lord of creation came down to earth and walked among men so we can join him eternally in heaven.

The Holy Trinity established one, holy, and apostolic church for you to attain your salvation through. It accepts you as you are, doubts and fears included, and it gives you everything you need to work out your salvation in fear and trembling. That you must force yourself to overcome doubts and objections not from outside but from inside makes you so much more capable of understanding the great blessing God has bestowed on us by giving us the faith, taught and preserved by the Church Christ established.

All of us have areas we must force ourselves to conform our will to the Lord’s. Some people have to force themselves not to lie, even though it would be easier than telling the truth, some have to force themselves not to be unfaithful when their spouses have divorced them and society tells them to date and move on. Some have to force themselves not to eat more than they need even though their emotions long for another bite. Some are too scrupulous and have to force themselves to trust God’s mercy, even when they can’t comprehend it. Some are too lax and have to force themselves to remember God’s justice even when it means nothing to them at the time. All of us have to overcome the areas keeping us from full communion with our Lord through His Church. You have to overcome temptations to despair. It isn’t easy, but it isn’t anything unique.

Prayers that your temptations be removed will be met with opportunities for you to overcome them. Of course you have more doubts. You have more opportunities to not despair. It is what you prayed for! Now it is your turn to do something different about it. To trust in God’s providence and to force your will to continue on doing the right thing, even while you don’t feel like it.

I pray you realize this the next time you have doubts and place yourself in the mercy of God while you do not act on the doubts that will pass with time and grace.
