Just a quick poll to see how many people pray the rosary before or after Mass!

If I get to Mass in time I try to pray before and sometimes during Saturday morning Mass, we pray the Rosary after.

Once a month before all weekend masses, the parish leads the rosary. But usually, I say my rosary at other times, particularly during adoration.

I usually pray the Rosary privately at any time during the day when I find the time (not necessarily right before or after Mass).

About a year ago our bishop asked that every parish in our diocese publicly pray a decade of the Rosary before every Sunday (and Saturday vigil) Mass for the intention of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our parish has extended this by praying a decade for vocations before each weekday Mass as well.

I don’t pray the Rosary before of after Mass, except for the couple times a month I go to the Tridentine High Mass, where that parish prays the Rosary before Mass.

My family does, however, pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy before Mass every Sunday at our Novus Ordo.

I think I’m lucky that in our Parish the Rosary is said before Mass each Sunday (we are a small Parish clustered with two others. One community has a Sat evening Mass and the other two have one Mass each on Sunday - three Masses total with a Sacramental Priest).
I also say the Rosary every morning on my way to work and the Divine Mercy Chaplet on the way home from work. On Saturdays and Sundays I don’t have a set time, but fit them in during the day.

Blessings to all 🙂

My home parish here in PA, I pray before by myself. When I am in Virginia, the church I go to prays the rosary before as a group.

I’ve ben to some parishes that said the rosary before Mass. If I get there early enough, I do it. It’s difficult to stay after Mass (especially that last Mass) and say it since everyone wants to clean up and go home.

In my parish, we pray the rosary before Mass, even before weekday Mass. This is a special privilage, and I try to join whenever possible.

In a couple of the parishes where I sometimes attend daily Mass, the Rosary is recited publicly right after Mass. And I do mean right after Mass. The second the priest is out of sight, someone starts. It seems to me it would be better to give people a moment or two to make a little thanksgiving before beginning the prayers aloud.
